Sports Activities at the OIS

“Your health is an investment, not an expense” The sports activities at the Oxford School Dabwali are one of its prime focuses. We strongly believe that the fitness of our students’ brings a positive difference in their overall academic performance as well as boosts their morale and team spirit in society. Sports are a field where we can hardly find someone who will not enjoy taking part in it. The kind of pleasure a person gets while playing, cannot be compared to any other activity. It gives a person the satisfaction which is very difficult to be achieved by any other means.

We at “The Oxford International School, Mandi Dabwali” try to give our children the best sports environment. The children learn many different sports with the help of their coaches.

It helps in building values like sportsmanship, team spirit, the importance of coordination and working together. They learn to respect each other and play together.  The students are provided with an environment that extracts the best in them.

As we all know that “All work and no play, makes Jack a dull boy”, the school aims at not only building the academic abilities in the children but also to encourage them to take part in different sports. We help them to understand the importance of a healthy and fit body.

Our students have represented the school in many district levels as well as state-level sports tournaments, which helps them to compete with the students from different regions and show their best abilities.
